Ms Farihah obtained her Degree in LL.B (Hons) in 2010 from International Islamic University Malaysia and completed her Masters in LL.M from Universiti Teknologi MARA in early 2015. She did her pupilage at Messrs Syarikat KL Rekhraj from August 2010 until May 2011 and began her legal career as a Conveyancing Legal Associate.
Farihah was elevated as Junior Partner in her previous firm and was exposed and trained extensively on a wide range of conveyancing matters and corporate matters.
She joined our firm in July 2022 as a Senior Associates. With her accumulated of eleven (11) years’ experience, she handles all conveyancing matters and corporate matters and also advises clients on a wide range of real estate transactions, corporate and retail banking.
Over the course of her work, she aided with and dealt with loan documentation, commercial conventional banking, sub-sale situations, and both Islamic and conventional loan documentation. She has advised inter alia Felcra Berhad, SP Setia Berhad, Island Peninsular Berhad (I&P) and PKB Kinrara Berhad in sale and purchase agreements particularly agreement regulated under Housing Development (Control and Licensing) Act 1966.
She has also advised in sale and acquisition properties and lands including sale and purchase agreement involving deceased estates in matters related to probate and distribution under Probate & Administration Act 1959 and Small Estates (Distribution) Act 1955.
On top of that, she has represented and advised clients in drafting corporate and commercial agreements in Development Rights Agreements with local developer, advised Yayasan Bank Rakyat in drafting of financing agreements and drafting of Franchise Agreement and assisting clients in submitting the application for copyright with MyIPO.
Farihah has also drafted and vetting other miscellaneous corporate agreements inter alia Joint Venture Agreements involving companies and local developers, Share Sale Agreement and Subscription and Shareholders’ Agreement involving local private limited companies and foreign companies, Friendly Loan Agreement, Trust Deed Agreement involving individuals and corporate institutions, Mining Participation Agreement involving Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA) and local mining companies, Licensing Agreement, Sub-Contract Agreement, Software Development Agreement involving local private companies.
