Datuk Abu Bakar Isa Ramat graduated from University of Tasmania, Australia in 2005 and was called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor in 2009. He completed his Master of Law from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2014.
Datuk Abu Bakar was involved in numerous litigation matters and has a profound experience in Civil Litigation, such as defamation, breach of contracts and contentious property dealings. He also has handled several high-profile and political cases.
In 2013, Abu Bakar received the medal as “Ahli Mangku Negara (AMN)” from His Royal Highness Yang Di-Pertuan Agong and “Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang Masyarakat (PMC)” from Yang Dipertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan in 2014.
Datuk Abu Bakar was awarded a title of Darjah Pangkuan Seri Melaka (DPSM) by His Most Excellency Melaka on 11th October 2020.
